Q: Is your polish easy to remove? And does it wear the same as store brands?

A: Our nail lacquers last about a week when used with a base and top coat. Your wear time may vary if you do a lot of hands on activities, or if you wash your hands frequently. You can also increase wear time by starting with clean nails, by swiping a little polish remover over each one.

(Cecy usually gets bored with her manicure before it has time to chip. She gets about four or five days of solid (no chip) wear with her Poison’d Lacquer mani.)

In her experience, the glitter nail polishes of every brand are always more difficult to remove than those without glitter. She uses a normal polish remover for removing non-glitter polish, and the aluminum foil method for removing glitter polish. Q: Are your products vegan?

A: All Poison’d Lacquer products are vegetarian, and the majority are vegan as well.  We always make sure to specify the few that are not vegan.  (At this time, those shades are Something Wicked, Gaudy Blossoms, Skimble-Skamble, and Morning Story.  They contain carmine.)  We never test on animals and all of our products are free of the Big 5 chemicals (Formaldehyde, formaldehyde resins, toluene, camphor, and dibutyl phthalate.) This also means that they are safe for use on children and by pregnant women.
